Heartfelt, vulnerable, and believable narration

Nadia has worked on projects for clients in the non-fiction and fiction sectors in genres like romance, historical fiction, fantasy, drama, satire, informational nonfiction, and children’s books. “We chose Nadia from over 80 actresses—not just for her vocal range and raw talent, but for her rare ability to embody contradiction: to find humor without reaching, heartbreak without pushing, and strength inside vulnerability. Across 21 chapters, Nadia gave us a performance that’s layered, sharp, broken, and funny…”

Stage-worthy narration and dramatic interpretation

“Nadia provides stage-worthy narration that is emotionally compelling alongside a grand performance. Her range for characters and dramatic interpretation is well worth the hire.” Differentiating characters can be a bit of a challenge, but Nadia loves using her plethora of accents and exploring new ones! For one client’s book that was set in Wisconsin, she met with a dialect coach to feel more comfortable with a Midwestern Wisconsin flavored accent.

An ear for languages

“As a trained singer, she has an ear for the sound of language, and I believe it made her narration richer…My text demanded a good ear as well for the large number of non-English words, which I wanted pronounced correctly for the audiobook. Nadia pulled off the challenge with flying colors, researching and pronouncing the words accurately and with aplomb.”

Whether your novel is set in a fantasy world or in real world locations with different languages, Nadia will research to make sure that the narration is exactly to your liking. She understands the nuance of language, thanks to her language study and diction training as an opera singer.

Ease of Delivery and Review

Nadia has worked with clients on platforms such as ACX and AHAB to produce an audiobook. She can deliver batch files for easy listening and review via Google Drive to make sure that you are listening as the story progresses. She can also fit directed sessions into her schedule via recording platforms like SourceConnect, ipDTL, Zoom, Google Meetings, Microsoft Teams, BodalgoCall, Cleanfeed, SessionLink, etc. for live direction. If you would prefer Nadia travel to a local studio, she collaborates with several local studios in the Atlanta area.

Client Reviews

Working with Nadia Marshall has honestly been one of the absolute highlights of joining the team at Dartmouth Park. She’s the voice behind our complex, layered heroine Jaycee Grayson — and what she brought to the role was just incredible. Intelligence, warmth, humor, sass, and so much heart. Jaycee isn’t an easy character to play — she’s sharp, sarcastic, deeply emotional, and somehow still totally lovable — and Nadia managed to strike the perfect balance. It would’ve been easy for the character to tip too far in one direction, but Nadia just got her. She made Jaycee someone you wanted to follow, someone you genuinely cared about.
When we were casting, Jaycee was our main focus — but what we didn’t fully realize at the time was how vital the entire ensemble would be, especially in an audiobook where every voice matters. Nadia ended up voicing dozens of characters — all with clarity, nuance, and emotional depth. Her ability to differentiate between characters of different ages, backgrounds, and accents was amazing. It brought the story to life in a way that was immersive and completely engaging. We had other actresses ask how many male roles — because they can be a challenge, but honestly, Nadia nailed of them all too.
Oh, and on top of all that? She sings. Beautifully. Our book features two original songs, and Nadia’s musical performances added such a rich, emotional layer to the production. She sings with the same ease and expressiveness she brings to her acting.
From a practical standpoint, she’s an absolute pro. Easy to work with, takes direction really well, incredibly responsive, and turned around revisions faster than we could have hoped for.
If you’re considering casting Nadia Marshall in your project — don’t hesitate. She’s the real deal, and working with her was a total privilege. Our Audible release is coming in August, and I genuinely can’t wait for people to hear what she’s done. It’s something special.

Nadia Marshall didn’t just narrate Horrible Women, Wonderful Girls: A Jaycee Grayson Novel. She became one with the heroine of the flagship title for our woman-owned micro-press.

We chose Nadia from over 80 actresses—not just for her vocal range and raw talent, but for her rare ability to embody contradiction: to find humor without reaching, heartbreak without pushing, and strength inside vulnerability. Across 21 chapters, Nadia gave us a performance that’s layered, sharp, broken, and funny—just like Jaycee herself. Some unforgettable moments:

Her restrained handling of grief? Quietly devastating, expressed not only in words but also in song.
“I Like You: Hey Abel” is a character ballad so emotionally raw and delicately delivered, it felt like someone trying to speak truth for the first time. “Anastasia’s Theme” is a playful, haunting children’s song performed with the innocence and awkward hope of someone singing a prayer into space.

Both original songs appear in the novel, and Nadia’s vocals are so heartfelt and human, we’re hoping to release a single to help promote the audiobook this fall. Even knowing she’s a trained opera singer and tango dancer, she made these performances feel untrained—in the best way. Jaycee sang them, not a performer. A person.

Whether voicing deadpan sarcasm with heart and hope, misfiring flirtation altogether, or delivering high-stakes awkwardness with laugh-out-loud comedic timing, Nadia delivered an astonishing lineup of fully-fleshed dialects, characters, and scenes. It’s a fully-fleshed, human-voiced performance—nuanced, instinctive, unforgettable. It’s a performance people won’t just admire—they’ll talk about, in a time when authentic connection carries a greater premium than ever for voice-driven indie debuts.

Horrible Women, Wonderful Girls: A Jaycee Grayson Novel launches this September on Audible, Amazon, and Apple Books. Don’t miss Nadia’s stunning debut as Jaycee Grayson

Nadia Marshall is a talented voice actor and a true professional. It was a delight to work with her! I hired her to narrate the audiobook version of my novel Strawberry Fields, a young adult thriller set in Prague in 1968, and I’m so glad she was available for the project. Nadia delivered chapters as she finished them and I listened as they came in. I then emailed her with any changes I wanted her to make (always few in number) and she addressed them promptly, making the process smooth, efficient, and painless. As a trained singer, she has an ear for the sound of language, and I believe it made her narration richer. She imbued the text with just the right amount of drama, mystery, and suspense. She captured the personalities of characters in ways that made each one feel distinct and alive, giving them voices that surprised me in how well they matched and even went beyond my own understanding. My text demanded a good ear as well for the large number of non-English words, which I wanted pronounced correctly for the audiobook. Nadia pulled off the challenge with flying colors, researching and pronouncing the words accurately and with aplomb. I highly recommend Nadia!
